Title: What We Do in the Night
Series: Day to Night Duet #1
Author: Stylo Fantôme
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Erotic Romance
Release Date: June 21, 2019

Blurb

Just five months ago, Valentine O'Dell started working at a very special kind of nightclub – one where you can dance the night away, or live out your greatest fantasy. She's learned to lose herself to her nights, forgetting all her day time woes as she charms every man she meets. It's easy enough to do when she doesn't let her feelings get involved.

Then Ari Sharapov walks in and changes everything.

Working for his father's law firm has left Ari with very little control over his life, so when he sees Valentine for the first time, he sees a girl who is desperate for someone to take care of her. To take over her. So what he can't get for himself in the day time, he'll simply take for himself at night. But when power struggles lead to real feelings, who's actually controlling whom?

Some relationships are better left in the dark.

Caché is both Romper Room and Wonderland for adults. A fantasy never set in stone. This always changing pleasure palace is an overload for the senses and desires. Or for some a childish play place...

For Valentine, it's a way to look out for Gam-Gam and also lose herself in the moment. But moments are fleeting and she never anticipated meeting HIM.

Ari is more than she bargained for. He is nothing she wants but everything she needs. What We Do in the Night is Everything. They get into all kinds of mischief. Is fantasy better than reality?

Only way to know for sure is to wait for Day to Night.

Something you need to know going in Ari Sharapov is a knob/idiot wrapped up in a sexy package. At times I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh or punch him. He's rich and entitled, used to getting his own way and doesn't like the word no. Valentine is my favourite character I so want to be her friend. Hard working determined and so much fun, her sense of humour made me love her so much. The storyline is unique and quirky and emotional. Loved the witty banter and the secondary characters add a lot to the story. There is drama that leads to the ending that sets the reader up nicely for book two.

Author Bio

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

The Man I Need (Ward Duet, 2) by Shanora Williams

Release Date: June 13, 2019

Blurb:

There are things that women want, and things that women need.

I know deep down, with every fiber in my body, that I need Mr. Ward.

He started out as my landscape designer, but became so much more.

Now, my life is on the line while living with the devil himself. I have been torn down and broken, and I don’t think I can take anymore.

The man I need was never the one I married.

No, the man I need is the one I was never supposed to have. He’s the one who showed me gentleness, kindness, and true love.

Ward would put up a fight for me at any cost.

I know for a fact, I could be so much happier with him…

But when I come face-to-face with reality, I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to risk it all for someone I’ve just met, even if it seems like Mr. Ward and I are a match made in heaven.

*This is the second, and final book in the Ward Duet. You must read The Man I Can't Have before reading The Man I Need.

The conclusion to Marcel and Gabby's tumultuous story. This one focuses more on the two main characters so the pace is slightly slower. The man we all love to hate takes things to a whole new level and I hated him with a passion. Gabby really showed her strength for me and I was cheering her on every step of the way. Marcel had a vulnerable charm I wasn't expecting. The way he interacted with Gabby won my heart.

A really good conclusion.

The Man I Need is a definite change of pace compared to The Man I Can't Have. Right or wrong, what's done is done. Consequences are unavoidable. Gabby will be in the fight of her life.

The Man I Need has taken a sweet approach. The Man I Can't Have was all tension, lust, and desire. The Man I Need is supportive, kind, and loving. All different sides to one amazing man. Gabby is a lucky lady.

#Tour #Reviews BAD INFLUENCE by Charleigh Rose @EJBookPromos @authorcharleigh

Title: Bad Influence
Series: Bad Habits
Author: Charleigh Rose
Genre: New Adult Romance
Release Date: June 13, 2019

Allie
When I moved to River’s Edge, dating was the last thing on my mind.
I definitely didn’t expect to fall for him.
Jesse Shepherd.
Popular. Star athlete. Cocky as hell.
You know the type.
But as time passed, I realized there was more lurking beneath that gorgeous exterior.
Secretive. Angry. A little bit broken.
The more I peeled back his layers, the deeper I fell.
Until I slammed headfirst into his sea of lies.

Jess
I blew my shot.
Pissed everything away—college, lacrosse, my future—only to end up right back where I started in River’s Edge.
I was content to revel in my misery, spending my days drowning in a bottomless pit of booze and girls.
Until I saw her.
Allison Parrish.
Beautiful. Sarcastic. Perpetual bad attitude.
The pretty little distraction from the shit show that was my life.
But the sins of my past were closing in on me, and I learned the hard way that nothing gold can stay.

This is a book that had me conflicted, I enjoyed it but didn't love it. Jesse and Allie were perfect for each other. There is a lot of conflict in the story. Both of them have tragic pasts and are drawn to each other. I just felt that at times the story was just getting started and then it stalled only to pick up again. I love a bad boy with a heart and Jesse fits the bill. Overall I enjoyed the book it just wasn't my favourite by this author.

The Bad Oh with many titles and too many different "faces" meets his match...bane of his existence...or The One. Bad Influence is a tension-filled read. I don't know whether to smack him upside the head or shake her...but the heart wants what the heart wants!

And her heart wants to be corrupted by the Bad Influence, one seductive kiss at a time.

“Did you hear that?” I ask. Moving in slowly, he cages me in, bracing his right arm on the wall above my head, his left hand by my hip. He brings his lips close to my ear and I fight the shiver that rolls through me. “It’s probably just your admirer,” he says, his voice hushed and husky. I swallow hard, looking over his shoulder as he nuzzles closer, his nose skimming my neck, then down to my collarbone. My pulse pounds in my ears as he moves back up, his mouth brushing across my cheek, stopping at my parted lips. “Is this convincing?” He asks. He’s so close that I can feel his breath on my lips, and I realize that I want him to do it. I want him to kiss me. I give a slight shake of my head in response. “No?” He smirks, knowing exactly what he’s doing to me. His left hand leaves the wall to curl around my hip and he presses his chest to mine. “How about this?” “Almost,” I whisper. I wet my lips and the tip of my tongue nearly grazes his bottom lip. His expression goes from playful to heated in an instant, then he’s closing the final distance. It’s soft at first, just a brush of his lips against mine, but soon he’s cupping my face with both hands, tilting my head back as his tongue sweeps into my mouth, his movements confident and skilled. Unhurried and unyielding. My hands find his shirt, pulling him closer as his tongue fucks my mouth. Because that’s exactly what this is. This isn’t kissing. Or maybe it is, and I’ve been kissing the wrong boys. Jesse groans, fitting a firm thigh between my legs, and the need bubbling inside me threatens to boil over at the sensation. But all too soon, he pulls back, leaving me breathless. “Was that convincing enough?”

Charleigh Rose lives in Narnia with her husband and two young children. She’s hopelessly devoted to unconventional love and pizza. When she isn’t reading or mom-ing, she’s writing moody, broody, swoony romance.

A new series and a new bunch of characters to obsess over. Hailee and Jason are very reluctant step-siblings who couldn't be more different. Jason Is the star jock and Hailee the quiet girl who loves art. Cameron is Jason's buddy and also someone with secrets.

I loved Hailee she is such a strong character. How she doesn't break with everything that happens I don't know. Once Cameron gets his head out his ass my opinion of him changed. I'm not sure who I loathed more Jason or Hailee's mum. Kids can be so cruel but Jason is brutal.

As I've come to expect from this author the angst is on speed dial. Despite the romance being slow burn, this is a fast-paced book. The ending sets up the premise for book two perfectly. Can Jason be redeemed in my eyes, who knows? He can't get any worse. Can he?

Have you ever met someone and been completely taken in by them but then they open their mouth and it's straight to @sshole zone. Not friend zone, friends with benefits zone, or even right now- No, I mean smack this @sshhole upside the head and plot his death zone. Just me!?! Then you haven't met Jase, or his best friends Cam and Asher.

I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that your opinion will change. 100% guaranteed. The Trouble With You is a fun push and pull enemies to lovers adventure. By adventure, I mean ups, downs, and side ways movements and even a hit that feels like you were pushed off a cliff.

Rixon Raiders rule the roost in this sports obsessed town where football is king. The players are gods. Everyone else is there for servitude. Except for the one girl with a front row seat to trouble!

Hailee has never been a fan. She has no desire to be a part of that world. High school is almost done. She just needs to get through this year. Just needs...Yeah,about that, it might be easier if her stepbrother wasn't the head of the god squad. If QB1 didn't live in the same house and live to make her existence that much more difficult.

If, if ,if...

Time is wasted on ifs. She can't lose him and she sure won't join him. Hailee is stubbrn and will not go down without a fight. The question is who is she really fighting? The pranks are getting out of hand and now the consequences are very real.

The Trouble With You is fiction with a lot of reality. It's not your sweet saccharine tale. No it's a teeth gnashing, tongue biting, knock down drag out romp. So dust off your dancing shoes and get your homecoming speech ready because the Raiders are here.

I'll be over in the corner sneaking longing glances at football hotties while silently judging the horny girls throwing themselves at them. Ah the sweet smell of pheromones and teenage angst, nothing but the best from LA Cotton.

Go Raiders!
