As with every book the author gives us it's intricately crafted with twists and surprises. Ah yes! Skye Warren is at it again. She always does this to me. She sucks me in a world of desire, intrigue, and suspense. A world of questionable decisions, desires, and needs. She sets you up with a potential lover, a family dynamic, or a need for protection. Wary at first but then you settle in. You get used to the protection, used to the desire, used to the familiar. You are so used to it that- BAM!
