Stories Included: Arena Lights by Mandi Beck End Goal by Ella Fox A Slice of Love by Teagan Hunter Dear Ava by Ilsa Madden-Mills The Teaching Hours by Sara Ney Body Heat by Rochelle Paige The Strike Out by Meghan Quinn Guys Like You by Charleigh Rose Fast Break by Kennedy Ryan Love Game by Emma Scott Fair Catch by Kate Stewart

The Guy in the Middle by Kate Stewart 4 stars

Such a little tease! 😉 Kate Stewart threw me under the bus in this one (as a little tart!). I won't hold it against her, I laughed my butt off after screaming like a banshee. All name drops aside, The Guy in the Middle is just the start of Lance's story. Kate, the evil tease, has more instore for us. So I'm impatiently waiting for my ever after...I mean, Lance's ever after.

Arena Lights by Mandi Beck 4 stars

Yes, yes, yes! I am all for the hockey hottie chaperone. I may be channeling my inner Millie but I will own it. Arena Lights has my attention. I am definitely down for all Benny has to offer...I just wish there was more. Call me greedy! I will own it. I love these two and want to see this thing out...including a certain older brother having his day! Here's hoping Mandi decides to give us more later!

Body Heat by Rochelle Paige 3.5

It seems Rochelle Paige wants to show us both sides of the athlete coin. The dirty arrogant slimy ones and the perfection we all dream about! 😉 I completely agree that the latter is just what the doctor ordered and so we need to protect that...with any means necessary. (Bigger, more dramatic winky face!) Hella hot and not afraid to use his "gifts" this athlete has a LOT to offer!

Guys Like You by Charleigh Rose 4.5

I have to be honest, I love when the girl is hard to get! I love the push and pull. I love when a guy is smitten. Guys Like You...are hard to come by! Well, the new improved post I swooned...and laughed my butt off.

Fast Break: A Hoops Novella by Kennedy Ryan 5

It is completely without surprise that Kennedy Ryan just made a half court shot one armed without looking. Don't believe me!?! Read Fast Break! This quick hitting novella packs a punch. Fast foot work and some serious skill has these two in a full court press. Shes wary and he wont back down. Its beautiful, touching, and of course (said in a "duh" tone) full of the feels! I need tickets if this team continues to win. Kennedy Ryan has me wanting to relocate and just take in all the awesomeness of these couples. I am completely smitten with the Hoops team.

End Goal by Ella Fox 3.5

Looks like Ella Fox is teasing us too! End Goal isn't the end at all but the beginning, or should I say continuation of something special. Tense situation and terrible circumstances bring them back together but readers will enjoy the animosity while fighting the fall.

The Teaching Hours by Sara Ney 4 stars

Rex Gunderson. REX. GUNDERSON. R-E-X. G-U-N-D-E-R-S-O-N. Legit...Rex. Wow! I didn't see that one coming but boy was that fun. Sara Ney gave us back the douchebag! It's funny because when the books started I wasnt sure who was the bigger d-bag. Lol. Her or him!?! Guess you will need to see what kind of woman it takes to snag Rex Gunderson. (Still shaking my head but smiling like a loon!)

A Slice of Love by Teagan Hunter 4 stars

In case you missed the memo and/or haven't read any of her books...or book titles for that matter, Teagan Hunter is funny. Her oddly, endearing titles make me giggle but A Slice of Love is adorably sweet with a side of hate to love you! Enjoy the humor in even the worst situations Teagan style. With a slice!

Love Game by Emma Scott 4 stars

You don't have to know anything about tennis to feel Love Game. Emma Scott will have you fighting all your feelings. You will be zinging back and forth (like a tennis ball) between irritation, compassion, lust, and desire. There might also be frustration, anger, and plain need to wring a neck or two but in the end this game will leave you smiling!

Holt's Story by Meghan "You're gonna hate her" Quinn 4.5 stars

Evil tease. Wicked...I can't. I tried but even if I want to say terrible things about Meghan Quinn because she baited us...I can't. She's just too sweet. I have an irrepressible addiction to the men she writes. I swear she has a Becky-so-horny meter. She knows what I need, what I want, and then gives it to me in the shape of a V...I mean a baseball hottie- although all Vs were appreciated and lovingly worshipped in this novella. Holt is a keeper. Harmony is a fiery femme fatale. These two are going to burn the world down with their chemistry and we are going to beg to be a part of it. I have no shame in this. We just need to keep Meghan alive and healthy until she gives us our Holt-uation. (You know continuation but with Holt...If I have to explain it, it's not as awesome!)

Dear Ava by Ilsa Madden-Mills 4.5 stars

Wow! Talk about hard hitting and in your face. Ilsa Madden-Mills didn't hold her punches in Dear Ava. She starts with a wallop and keeps them coming. Yes, it has a sensitive nature and it is handled with respect. I am so excited and sad at the same time. I'm excited because eventually we will get more Ava and Knox but I'm sad because my greedy little heart wants it now! Have no fear though, they already have a HFN. I just can't help my grabby hands clawing for more!

So many teases and so many more additions to my TBR. I'm a team player so I have no problem with that. I just need the patience of a saint now...

#NewRelease #Review PERFECTLY ADEQUATE by Jewel E. Ann @jennw23 @JewelE_Ann

“Another brilliantly written winner. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up, you will not regret it.” —Kate Stewart, USA Today bestselling author

Perfectly Adequate, an all-new must-read romantic comedy from Jewel E. Ann, is available now!

Dr. Elijah Hawkins needs … something.

After his wife jumps headfirst into a midlife crisis, he’s left with his young son, Roman, and a lot of unanswered questions.

That something turns out to be a someone—Dorothy Mayhem, nursing student, patient transporter, reckless driver, and emu owner.

Dorothy studies humans, the neurotypical kind, through books and television. Then she emulates their behavioral patterns to fit in with her peers.

But nothing can prepare her for Dr. Elijah Hawkins.

Single dad.

Brilliant pediatric oncologist.

And the sexiest doctor at the hospital.

When his failed attempts at asking her out turn into a string of playdates with his son, Dorothy finds herself unexpectedly enamored with the boy and his father.

And that’s a problem, a huge one, because Elijah’s ex-wife is a famous plastic surgeon—and Dorothy’s idol.

Perfectly Adequate is a beautiful, hilarious, and heart-felt journey along the “human” spectrum.

I am absolutely 100% okay. Not fine but Perfectly Adequate

I'm fighting tears of happiness, understanding, and acceptance. I'm learning, loving, and smiling. Jewel E. Ann is opening windows when we were all looking at locked doors.

Perfectly Adequate is an emotional upheaval. Learning the lingo and processing it was a journey in itself. Okay means something completely different. Fine...well, when spoken by a woman always means NOT FINE. (That wasn't so hard to process!😜)

Experiencing life through a different lense has always intrigued me. Dorothy Mayhem and her wildly appropriate name are beyond okay. She is a spectacularly wonderful breath of fresh air and a completely beautiful soul. She is the embodiment of everything wonderful in this world that doesn't have it's own "translation."

I had the hardest time not smacking sense into the most stubborn individuals in this book but it's....fine. I got over my urge to shake them once it all became...Okay.

Perfectly Adequate is like nothing I've read before and also the most OKAY book ever. Jewel E. Ann had some amazing insight into humans. I am both envious and amazed by her revelations (also known as quotes).

I can't fangirl enough about these beautiful souls and their amazingly Perfectly Adequate story.

#NewRelease #Review LOVE ME TOMORROW by Maria Luis @Danichez75 @MariaLuis629

They call her America’s Sweetheart.

And me? I’m the so-called “inked god” she dumped on TV.

I’ve tried to forget her. I’ve tried to move on.

Until I discover that her family is opening a new restaurant next to my tattoo parlor.

If I were a gentleman, I’d offer my congratulations and go my own way.

If I were a gentleman, I’d let her be . . . but I’m not.

Savannah Rose may claim I’m nothing more than a friend, but that slight hitch in her breath whenever I get too close says that America’s sweetheart is nothing but a liar.

All it takes is one scorching kiss, and I vow in her ear: “You’re going to beg, Savannah. Beg me to touch you, beg me to give you more, and if you’re real good, maybe I’ll do it all over again before you have to beg for that too.”

I’m no gentleman.

But Savannah Rose? She’s no one’s sweetheart but mine.

I would have said YES! Lol, or at least started with giving him my hand!

I feel like I've just seen Maria Luis for the first time. (I haven't ever actually seen her and this isn't my first read by her but wow!) Love Me Tomorrow got me good.

If anything it made me greedy, I now need to know about all of her books. The banter, the push and pull, the chemistry between these two - just wow. The forbidden aspect, the pain, the longing are all intense- Maria definitely had fun turning the readers and these characters inside out. Secrets and regret are the biggest forces keeping them apart do maybe it would be easier to Put A Ring On It. 😉 (shameless plug!)

I actually started this series with Aspen and Dom. I stumbled on their book and have zero regrets. Love Me Tomorrow solidifies my Maria Luis reader crush. I'm going to be around...stalking her page now. (Gage has my back!)

With unique and unrelenting secrets knocking at their door, Owen's motto make me want to get a tattoo. Their strength of character is inspiring as is Owen's whole story. I couldn't help but fight my tears. I would hug him if I could. Actually, I would hug them all except for CT. I carry grudges what can I say!

Maria Luis is the author of sexy contemporary romances, though she may or may not have a few historical romances hiding in the cobwebs of her computer.

When she's not writing about strong men and the sassy women who sweep them off their feet, Maria is a historian who specializes in medieval England and 19th century New Orleans. What do the two eras have in common, you ask? Not much, except for disease, scandalous activities and crime--Maria's favorite topics.

Maria lives in New Orleans with her better half, where she can generally be found hiking with her two dogs, Zeus and Athena, kayaking in Louisiana's inter-coastal waterways, or curled up on the couch with a good book.

#NewRelease #Reviews FOREVER AND ALL THE AFTERS by K.I. Lynn @forewordpr @KI_Lynn_

Cover Design: T.E. Black Designs

Release Date: September 23, 2019

He promised me forever.

Then he boarded a plane for a college a thousand miles away and never returned. A decade later there’s a ring on my finger with a new promise from a new love.

Just as my life falls into place, pretty as the pages of a magazine, my world is knocked over. The moment he touches me everything around me begins to crack, exposing all the lies I’ve told myself.

Every glance reminds me. Every touch ignites.

Things aren’t how they used to be.

Love isn’t easy.

Forever and All the Afters...can I just marinate in that a bit!?! That is seriously swoony mojo working to come up with that...Forever and All the Afters. (Still sighing and fanning myself)

Pike is the dream. The One to hold all others to. Legit. That is his place in life. I love the friends to more trope. But I love the intensity of their connection a thousand times more!

Second chance at forever...
Second chance at the one...
Second chance at all that was lost...
A second chance to remember who you truly are...

This sweet love story has some bitter nastiness mixed in but as I tell my kids...
How do you know you are truly happy if you've never been sad?!

K.I. Lynn gave us happiness and the reality check needed to show it. Forever and All the Afters is highly romantic and a pick me up for even the most stoic romance readers.

Well this was unexpected. From the blurb I expected a standard second chance romance but typical this is not. The author explores a very hard very real and harrowing subject as part of this book. I'm not going to say what it is. I feel that this aspect of the book is best revealed slowly as it will make it more realistic.

Pike and Aubrey's history is fully explored so we are not left guessing about what happened. Now reunited Pike is determined to get her back and I liked that about him. I alternated between wanting to hug Aubrey and wanting to shake her. However there is a big but that I can't explain.

I really enjoyed the story and the dynamics between the characters.

About the Author

K.I. Lynn is the USA Today Bestselling Author from The Bend Anthology and the Amazon Bestselling Series, Breach. She spent her life in the arts, everything from music to painting and ceramics, then to writing. Characters have always run around in her head, acting out their stories, but it wasn't until later in life she would put them to pen. It would turn out to be the one thing she was really passionate about. Since she began posting stories online, she's garnered acclaim for her diverse stories and hard hitting writing style. Two stories and characters are never the same, her brain moving through different ideas faster than she can write them down as it also plots its quest for world domination...or cheese. Whichever is easier to obtain... Usually it's cheese.
