#BlogTour #Reviews #Giveaways #5Star UNPLANNED by M. Piper @L_ski28 @Author_MPiper

*If purchased before September 1, receive a free short story at the end of the book!

I’m Lincoln West.

First sibling of three, and the other two couldn’t be any more opposite of me.

Single father extraordinaire to the coolest kid on the face of the earth, and I have parents that think the world of my son.

I’m a family guy. At twenty-two, I’ve embraced my fate as lifetime member of the uncool single dad club. It’s the Lincoln and Carter show…until I meet Wren. That’s when everything changes. And I mean everything. More laundry in the machine, a third toothbrush at the bathroom sink, Cosmopolitan magazine next to the bed. More importantly, a home that feels full.

Wren’s the beauty in my ugly days. She’s full of life, and talent, and she’s the exact mother figure my son needs. It’s surprising because she’s the daughter of two very shitty people. Pardon my French. Two people who taught her to hate herself because she didn’t follow their plan for her. Two people that drop a hell of a bomb on us. Right when we think the world’s stopped pitting against us, her family proves us wrong.

Now we’re out to prove that even though unplanned, our unconventional life is absolutely perfect.

I'm not typically a crier from reading but this one pulled it from me effortlessly, lol. All the emotions in this book are so real and easy to empathize with that I was wrapped up in the story right from the beginning.
This was a wonderful love story of two people coming together despite their very different upbringings. Wren comes from an uptight, cold political family that only cares about what the media thinks about their image, whereas Lincoln's family is down to earth and loving, putting family above all else.
Their past circumstances have paved very different paths in their young lives, but meeting and coming together feels so right and so complete for them. Will feuding families pull them apart? With Wren's family ruin everything for her yet again?
You must read this amazing story and see for yourself! I highly recommend this book!

I went into this book knowing nothing at all and it was a beautiful surprise.
This was a story that tugged on my heartstrings it's sweet romantic and sexy and left me with a little happy glow.
Lincoln is devoted single dad to the cutest little boy, forcing him to abandon his wild boy antics and grow. I loved the relationship between father and son , it was so refreshing to read a single parent romance fro a different perspective.
Wren is s beautiful woman inside and out, she has struggled to live up to her parents expectations. I cheered her when she decided she'd had enough and was going to forge her own path.
The slow build of their relationship was beautifully written and their chemistry is off the charts. There are a lot of secondary characters most of whom I loved, the West family are so supportive of each other and I know they are going to provide lots more drama I can't wait to read them.

I was so excited to read Unplanned by M. Piper. The blurb had me hooked. And was I ever right, I couldn't put the dang book down. I loved the setting of Springfield, IL. It's so close to home. I have been there too many times to count. And yes in elementary school I took a class field trip to visit all the Abraham Lincoln sites there.
I loved the storyline. I fell so in love with the characters. I also love the dual perspective. It is my favorite style because I like know what goes on in the main character's head. I like seeing their internal struggles. I also really like how the book comes full circle. It is a definite 5 Star one-click read.
This review is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog. Enjoy, I know I did.

Unplanned is a sweet story with a very unusual beginning. A wonderful middle and the perfect ending. The Wests are a family you will want to belong to and life would be Leave It to Beaver perfect isn't.Unusual circumstances, a meet cute that induces a smirk, and a nasty family no one wants make all the drama in this book unbelievably believable.
I know. I know that didn't quite make sense...but it will.

[Blog Tour * Reviews] SHIFT by Staci Hart @imaquirkybird @jennw23

Hearts & Arrows, book #2
Staci Hart

Release Date: August 24th, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Cover Designer: QuirkyBird Designs
Photographer: Lauren Watson-Perry

Even the gods cannot betray the will of the stars. It’s been a hundred years since she’s warmed my bed, a hundred years spent waiting for her. Now we’ll compete again in a game that matters little to me. But my prize is far greater than a token to be paid for a favor — I want her. And for the first time in a very long time, I have the chance to keep her. Because now the ground has shifted, tilted in my favor, and with her footing unsteady, she will fall. I will catch her. This time, I won’t let go.
Just when I think I've acclimated to the total EPICness that is Staci Hart stories, she throws this series at me. I cannot put into words how amazing this story is! Ok...maybe just a few...

You are basically getting two stories combined into one, and both stories have enough angst, sexiness, and intensity to drive you completely insane! I loved every part of this book and I know you will too. BUY THIS BOOK! I highly recommend this story for, pretty much, every living soul!

OMG this series is simply stunning I can't think of a single thing I dislike. The premise for these stories is unique, I don't know of any other books like them. The author gives us a love story with a twist and it's not just one couple we follow. The gods are playing again they've picked their players and will use any means that win. Kat and Dillon are fantastic characters on their own but together they are dynamite. From the moment they meet sparks fly they hate each other but somehow they have to be civil to each other. Dillon's brother Owen and Kat's sister Kiki have been struck by cupids arrow, they've fell hard and fast for each other. We learn more about the difficult and tempestuous relationship between Aphrodite and Ares, the Goddess of Love and the God of War it was never going to be easy. With so many characters it should be confusing but it's not. It's intoxicating, beguiling, it's compelling and addictive and passionate and it had me bewitched.I've no idea who is next but I can't wait,

Start with Book #1

Staci Hart has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

[Release Blitz* Review] MUSCLE MEMORY by Stylo Fantôme @StyloFantome @GiveMeBooksBlog

Muscle Memory
Stylo Fantôme
Release Date: August 28, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Her lips, the way she feels, how she moves against me. Her voice when she laughs, her eyes when she cries. Her soul connected to mine, for better or for worse, for all eternity.

I don't remember.

A blank face. Unrecognizable. The darkness and impenetrable fog, day after day after day. Who am I? And for that matter, who is she?

I can't remember.

Two sides to the same coin – one wants to remember, and the other wants to stay forgotten. Which side will win? Can he trust his heart to bring him back to her? Or will she stay lost in the fog forever?

I might never remember.
Warning: features adult themes

Muscle's a very powerful thing. But the emotions that this phrase evokes in this book...gahhh! The feels.
Stylo Fantome has taken a person and turned them inside out. She stole their past and altered their future. What you don't realize as the reader is that your happiness is contingent on their altered reality. However altered is no longer their preferred method of coping...for the most part.
This incredible let story left me a weepy mess. It also left me typing this up at 1:57 AM. I couldn't put it down (mandatory faulting aside).Everything pulls you in. Your disgust, curiosity, and the sweet awe at seeing "the one" will have you twisted up in knots. But stop thinkng...stop forcing it...nust relax and let it show you with muscle memory.

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

[Release Blitz* Reviews] HATE TO LOVE YOU by Tijan @TijansBooks @jennw23

Hate to Love You

Publication Date: August 28th
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Rule #1: No hot guys.
It might sound ridiculous. I get it. It kind of is, but college was supposed to be my sanctuary. It was my place to start over. The rumors, the whispers, and the jealousy I endured through high school would all be gone.
No one would know me at college.
Rule #2: No drama.
I’d major in pre-law. I’d make a few loyal friends. Everything would be easy breezy. No one was going to use me or hurt me. I wouldn’t let them.
Rule #3: New year. New place. New me.
And all because of Shay Coleman.
Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk. I hated him on sight . . .
. . . and he was about to break all my rules.
This story was packed with everything. A damaged girl with a massive chip on her shoulder meets the perfect golden boy she wants to hate, but truly can't. That right there make you want to dig deeper, in order to find out what happens next. This story had all the angst, and suspense to keep you constantly wanting more. Hard controversial issues are brought up, which is something I love in a story. I like to challenged through a story. These topics are handled in a tasteful manner, and although the play a big role in the story, they do not overwhelm it. Shay and Kennedy are an amazing couple. They build each other up, and make each other better. They also provide SUPER HOT and swoony moments, that make you squeal like a little girl. The feelings are raw and you can feel right along with all the feelings the characters are going through. This book is a complete experience. I highly recommend this story to everyone! Read this book!

Tijan is one of my top authors and has written my favourite series ever, I've never read a book of hers that I didn't adore. In this book we are introduced to a whole new set of characters and I'll be upfront from the start that I hope we get to see more from the secondary characters.
Shay and Kennedy are freaking fabulous, I get all gushy just thinking about them. Shay is the hot jock of the college, when we first met him I thought he was going to play to the type but I should have had faith in the author because he wasn't as I expected at all. He's arrogant. the life and soul of the party but he has a wicked sense of humour.
Kennedy comes across as a closed off bitchy bore who looks at others with disdain. As the story develops we find out the background of her attitude, I got it when people use you it's a natural reaction to become wary. I loved everything about her from her sense of humour to her witty put downs to her feisty attitude.
There is a lot more to this story than just college and sex ( lots of hot sex ) but Shay is top bbf material he's the perfect mix of demanding and sweet. Please please please give Linde a book of his own.

I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.
