From the outside it seems like Sterling has it all, she's successful and rich but money doesn't keep her warm at night. Sterling decides to go home to her roots to try and get some perspective. Rorke is boy who stayed in their home town for him Sterling is the one who got away. They have known each other since they were young children and it shows, there is genuine affection between them.Rorke is the guy we all want, supportive, protective all in a drool worthy package. He's decided that now Sterling is home he's going to make his move and damn does he have the moves. This is a love story but you get the themes of acceptance, striving for your dreams and passion. The way Sterling is treated by some people made me angry and sad but Rorke proved his devotion by sticking by her side. This was a good introduction to a new to me author.

Sometimes a feisty and fun book is just what the soul needs and this book has it all. The chemistry and banter between Sterling and Rorke are to die for. Don't let me fool you into thinking this is all hearts and stars. There is a fair share of all kinds of feelings. You will seriously feel like you can't put the book down because you want to know what will happen next. This is my first time reading this author and I love her style of writing and truly enjoyed this book.
