This book was amazing beyond words. Easton is everything you don't expect him to be, and everything you want. Hartley is his perfect match. I want more! So so much more! I highly suggest this story, and the entire rest of the series to everyone.

[Book Blitz * Reviews] UNPLANNED by @Author_MPiper @L_ski28 #excerpt #Sale

UnPlanned
by M. Piper

Blurb

I’m Lincoln West.
First sibling of three, and the other two couldn’t be any more opposite of me.
Single father extraordinaire to the coolest kid on the face of the earth, and I have parents that think the world of my son.
I’m a family guy. At twenty-two, I’ve embraced my fate as lifetime member of the uncool single dad club. It’s the Lincoln and Carter show…until I meet Wren. That’s when everything changes. And I mean everything. More laundry in the machine, a third toothbrush at the bathroom sink, Cosmopolitan magazine next to the bed. More importantly, a home that feels full.
Complete.
Wren’s the beauty in my ugly days. She’s full of life, and talent, and she’s the exact mother figure my son needs. It’s surprising because she’s the daughter of two very shitty people. Pardon my French. Two people who taught her to hate herself because she didn’t follow their plan for her. Two people that drop a hell of a bomb on us. Right when we think the world’s stopped pitting against us, her family proves us wrong.
Now we’re out to prove that even though unplanned, our unconventional life is absolutely perfect.

 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm not typically a crier from reading but this one pulled it from me effortlessly, lol. All the emotions in this book are so real and easy to empathize with that I was wrapped up in the story right from the beginning.
This was a wonderful love story of two people coming together despite their very different upbringings. Wren comes from an uptight, cold political family that only cares about what the media thinks about their image, whereas Lincoln's family is down to earth and loving, putting family above all else.
Their past circumstances have paved very different paths in their young lives, but meeting and coming together feels so right and so complete for them. Will feuding families pull them apart? With Wren's family ruin everything for her yet again?
You must read this amazing story and see for yourself! I highly recommend this book!

I went into this book knowing nothing at all and it was a beautiful surprise.
This was a story that tugged on my heartstrings it's sweet romantic and sexy and left me with a little happy glow.
Lincoln is devoted single dad to the cutest little boy, forcing him to abandon his wild boy antics and grow. I loved the relationship between father and son , it was so refreshing to read a single parent romance fro a different perspective.
Wren is s beautiful woman inside and out, she has struggled to live up to her parents expectations. I cheered her when she decided she'd had enough and was going to forge her own path.
The slow build of their relationship was beautifully written and their chemistry is off the charts. There are a lot of secondary characters most of whom I loved, the West family are so supportive of each other and I know they are going to provide lots more drama I can't wait to read them.

I was so excited to read Unplanned by M. Piper. The blurb had me hooked. And was I ever right, I couldn't put the dang book down. I loved the setting of Springfield, IL. It's so close to home. I have been there too many times to count. And yes in elementary school I took a class field trip to visit all the Abraham Lincoln sites there.
I loved the storyline. I fell so in love with the characters. I also love the dual perspective. It is my favorite style because I like know what goes on in the main character's head. I like seeing their internal struggles. I also really like how the book comes full circle. It is a definite 5 Star one-click read. This review is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog. Enjoy, I know I did.

Excerpt
WREN
“It’s art girl,” he says and I freeze.
That voice, smooth…friendly…like butter. God, I love butter. It’s the man from the field trip. I know without even looking at him, and only because his voice has been engrained in my head since he caught me doing rubbings on his building.
I’d like to rub his building. I chuckle to myself and sigh.
“I’m ok with that nickname,” I say, smiling and turning around. My eyes trail his body, shirtless and sweaty, and my mouth goes dry. He’s…beautiful. He grins at me; his strong jaw and slight dimples make me weak in the knees. Or maybe that’s the lack off food today.
“Hey, let me help,” he says, grabbing the box out of my hands. I don’t have the energy to fight him on it…I’m too dumbfounded by how hot this guy is. Like, too hot for Springfield, hot. Deserves to be on a book cover hot. I watch his ass as he marches inside the house like he knows exactly where he’s going and when he disappears inside I shake my head and try to rid myself of these feelings. I can’t fall for anyone right now. Hell, the last time I was with a guy bad things happened from it. I need to get my life in order before falling for someone as good looking as him.
I make my way inside, walking as slow as possible so maybe I can just get a quick thank you in as he’s on his way out. This boy has feelings written all over him. Feelings I’m not ready to feel.
“Wren!” Lucy yells from the door. “This handsome piece of man meat says he knows you?” She appears in the doorway, motioning inside the house and I groan to myself. Lucy’s not like me. She’s loud, outspoken, opinionated, and has no shame whereas I’ve learned to keep to myself and do what I love most, not worrying about what everyone else thinks about me.
“I don’t know him, Lucy,” I whisper, skipping the steps on the porch to get to her before she embarrasses me even more. “Stop yelling! He can hear you,” I hiss quietly.
“Man meat, huh?” He’s standing next to her now, when he appeared I have no clue. All I can focus on is that smirk and that cute as fuck dimple.
“She said it,” I mumble. “Hey thanks for carrying that in for me,” I say, trying my hardest not to stare at his abs. God, his abs. I’ve never felt abs that…defined… I wonder what they feel like.

SYNOPSIS

Nathan Hart is charismatic with a beautiful smile that makes women weak in the knees. A former bad boy with a mysterious past. He was made to be in Hollywood, on the cover of magazines and the star of movies.

He’s what dreams are made of … and tabloid gold.

But there’s more to him that he hasn’t told a soul. Even the gossip columns will never know.

Something that draws me to him unlike anyone has before.
Something that could ruin us both.
He whispers to play along; he promises it will all be alright.

I can’t tell him no, even if I wanted to.
The moment he locked his light blue eyes on me, I was ruined.
I never stood a chance. I only pray our pasts don’t rip us apart.

EXCERPT

Nathan

She’s always running her fingers through her dirty blonde hair. The simple motion sends the sweet smell of lavender and something else my way. It’s faint, but I know it’s her. It’s something sweet and soothing. If I think about her, even if I see her across the lunch room or in the school parking lot, I swear I can smell that scent.
I like sitting behind her in geography. I can watch the cute little things she does and it looks like I’m actually paying attention.
This is the only class I haven’t gotten kicked out of this year. The stupid shit doesn’t bother me as much when I can watch her. Even if she never looks at me twice.
The bell rings and the sound rips my eyes away from her and towards the classroom door as a few more students file through. Adam Waynes is the last in and his chair screeches across the floor as he crashes into his seat. He’s loud as fuck and gets all the attention. At the thought, I look to her, to Harlow May expecting her to be watching the spectacle that would usually piss me off, but instead those gorgeous blue eyes are on me. She’s quick to look away, again her fingers flying to her hair and twirling her locks nervously as a bright pink creeps into her cheeks.
She can be shy all se wants, but I caught her. I caught her looking. Even better I made her blush. I did that.
It almost gives me enough courage to pull on her backpack straps as she walks in front of me to leave. I could give it a tug and force her to look back at me, but I don’t. I stay behind like I have for the last few months and let her walk away.
But the next time she looks back at me in geography, she doesn’t avert her gaze when I look back.

And a few days later, she’s the one tugging on my backpack.
I keep telling her I’m not good for her, she doesn’t listen though.
That’s the very thing that will ruin us and we knew it from the start.

 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Just when I think I've acclimated to the total EPICness that is Staci Hart stories, she throws this series at me. I cannot put into words how amazing this story is! Ok...maybe just a few...

You are basically getting two stories combined into one, and both stories have enough angst, sexiness, and intensity to drive you completely insane! I loved every part of this book and I know you will too. BUY THIS BOOK! I highly recommend this story for, pretty much, every living soul!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
OMG this series is simply stunning I can't think of a single thing I dislike. The premise for these stories is unique, I don't know of any other books like them. The author gives us a love story with a twist and it's not just one couple we follow. The gods are playing again they've picked their players and will use any means that win. Kat and Dillon are fantastic characters on their own but together they are dynamite. From the moment they meet sparks fly they hate each other but somehow they have to be civil to each other. Dillon's brother Owen and Kat's sister Kiki have been struck by cupids arrow, they've fell hard and fast for each other. We learn more about the difficult and tempestuous relationship between Aphrodite and Ares, the Goddess of Love and the God of War it was never going to be easy. With so many characters it should be confusing but it's not. It's intoxicating, beguiling, it's compelling and addictive and passionate and it had me bewitched.I've no idea who is next but I can't wait,

Start with Book #1

Staci Hart has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
