[New Release * Reviews] MALENTENDIDO (Misunderstood) by Mara White @authormarawhite @IndiesagePR

Malentendido
(Misunderstood)
Mara White

Publication Date: July 22, 2017

Genre: Taboo Romance

Synopsis
Whatever force made Lucky, either God or the Universe, wrapped him so tightly around my heart that sometimes I’m suffocating. Biologically, we are made of too many similar parts, yet our chemistry is like a meteor shower, raining bright sparks of light into the dark night. But it’s not our biology or chemistry that worries me the most, it’s the physics of our love that goes against the cosmos.

Holy Book of Flashbacks, Batman! This book gives you a little bit of now, and a whole lot more of then. You get to see situations from the first book from Lucky's perspective. The flashbacks were exciting but also shameless teases. I liked being able to step back, and see it all from another angle, but I really really wanted to know how it turned out. You can't just put this book down. I read straight through, because I was anxious to get to the hopefully happy ending. I wasn't disappointed, and neither will you be! This intense and emotional taboo treat is complete fabulous. I I highly recommend this amazing book!!

I loved The Maldeamores, but it left me wanting more. More Bey and more Lucky. Mara White delivers just that in Malentendido. I love that it isn't just a continuation of The Maldeamores. It's more. She revisits key events and gives us another perspective. I also love that we learn about Lucky's recovery.
This is a well written taboo romance. Mara White makes falling in love with your first cousin so wrong it's right! This 5 star review is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After the ending of Maldeamores I can't say I was completely happy but by the same token I wasn't unhappy because it seemed Belen was in a relatively good place and then I learned of book 2 and I did a happy dance.
I was quite apprehensive about reading this story because my heart loved Lucky and Belen together so much. I can honestly say the author healed my broken heart and reinforced my belief in soul mates.
We get so much more of Lucky's POV this time round he still made some stupid decisions but we realise why he did them. We reconnect with some of the previous characters from book one.
I'm not going to lie the last few chapters were my favourite I was smiling so much as I read them. This was an unexpected but very welcome sequel to this amazing story.

About the Author
Mara White is a contemporary romance and erotica writer who laces forbidden love stories with hard issues, such as race, gender and inequality. She holds an Ivy League degree but has also worked in more strip clubs than even she can remember. She is not a former Mexican telenovela star contrary to what the tabloids might say, but she is a former ballerina and will always remain one in her heart. She lives in NYC with her husband and two children and yes, when she’s not writing you can find her on the playground.
