#NewRelease #Reviews DIRTY HEADLINES by L.J.Shen @jennw23 @lj_shen

"Dirty Headlines is a fantastic enemies to lovers office romance with a perfect filthy asshole hero that I wish I'd written myself." - Laurelin Paige, New York Times bestselling author

Dirty Headlines, an all-new sexy, enemies-to-lovers romance from bestselling author L.J. Shen is LIVE!

Célian Laurent.

Manhattan royalty.

Notorious playboy.

Heir to a media empire.

…And my new boss.

I could have impressed him, if not for last month’s unforgettable one-night stand.

I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory—namely, his wallet.

Now he’s staring me down like I’m the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I’m supposed to take it.

But the thing about being Judith “Jude” Humphry is I have nothing to lose.

Brooklyn girl.

Infamously quirky.

Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.

When he looks at me from across the room, I see the glint in his eyes, and that makes us rivals.

He knows it.

So do I.

Every day in the newsroom is a battle.

Every night in his bed, war.

But it’s my heart at stake, and I fear I’ll be raising the white flag.

Everytime this author writes a new book i think this is going to be the one where I hate the guy but nope not this time.

Cèlian Laurent even his name gives me shivers not the bad kind but the kind that wrap around you like an expensive blanket. Now to be honest he's an asshole, everyone including himself knows that but he's unapologetic he owns his assholeness. From the start we know who he is, he's a dirty taking successful alpha who doesn't care about anything except his business and that is consistent throughout the story. Jude has to be hands down my favourite female character that the author has written. I just loved her, she's strong slightly quirky and not afraid to speak her mind.

I always love stories where the characters don't just have chemistry but where they things in common. The back and forth banter between them had me laughing out loud. Yes this has a lighter feel than her other books I've read but it doesn't lessen the impact of the story.

Another well-written story with characters that keep you invested from start to finish.

It is official L.J. Shen is a dirty rotten scoundrel. She made me cry again and she isn't even sorry.

Dirty Headlines is all sorts of naughtiness hiding an absolutely melt-worthy relationship thingy. A naughty and downright nasty dream worthy one night stand turns into the bane of your professional career. Oh yes, please!

The chemistry, lust, and heartbreak pouring off these two has the reader instantly on Team Julian. (Bahahaha! That's sadly better than the other one I came up with Team Celude.) People often bond over like experiences but not these two. Nope. They have a very different vibe going for them and boy do I want that kind of fire.

Dirty Headlines is emotional but not for the sake of being emotional. It's 100% realism with the characters makes it so much more...for lack of a better word- real. I was involved before I even realized it. L.J. Shen whisks you away to experience it all and then abruptly leaves you back at home where you are smiling like a loon and pining for a return trip.

This book will make headlines with readers everywhere. Stealing hearts and tears one chapter at a time.
