Synopsis

This was a very intriguing book, it's a story within as story the two of them running parallel but so completely different.
Lex and Dean are pawns in a game being played out in the heavens, where even gods are vunerable to love. Dean is a screw up women can't resist him and he loves every minute of their attention but feelings no he doesn't have them. Lex is in a relationship but she knows it's not that earth shattering once in a lifetime love.
When Lex and Dean meet the attraction is instant the moment they look eyes you can feel the sexual tension through the authors words but Dean is trying to do better, trying not to cause problems for his band mates and that means she is off limits. In the background the gods are trying to win by manipulating the situation.
It took me a while to get into the book because of the two separate arcs to the story but once I got it I was hooked, I needed to know why certain things happened and if everyone would get a HEA. This was a really enjoyable book with characters you will fall in love with despite their faults.

History meets Folklore and Romance in Modern Times...
There is absolutely nothing wrong, and everything right about this book!! Staci Hart is Amazing with a pen. She has quickly become one of my favorites, and her stories just keep proving this theory. I am absolutely addicted, my little pretties... READ THIS BOOK!!!

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
