Wow!! What an exciting read! I could not put this book down. The danger, the familial expectations of each of the main characters, the intense predicament they are now faced with.... I cannot wait for the next book! I haven't been hooked into a book quite this hard in weeks!
Our hero and heroine find themselves in a situation that makes it impossible and dangerous to be together. Julianna is a homicide detective working on a case that directly involves her love interest, Roman. Is he guilty or innocent. How will she manage working the case, not showing she has any connection to him, and getting to the truth? .... all while sorting through her conflicting feelings. The story continues with "The Scent of Roses (Dark Romeo 2)."

I was so excited for this book and it was AMAZING!!
The piling up of secrets, danger, and mystery really has me on the edge of my seat and I'm so anxious for the next book!

This is not a standalone within a series, you've gotta read them all, but it will be totally worth it to invest your time, because this is a goodie! The dynamics between all of these characters give them all such a clear voice and it's so easy to visualize them all. I feel like I'm watching a movie as I read, which rarely happens for me that easily. The characters are complex and wound up in a web of lies that keep you guessing and hoping. The pressure is really building for Roman and Julianna, because they both are in a dangerous and delicate position within both their families, and each other's. Will their devotion to each other win out, or will the pressures of family and familial responsibility rule their futures?

After much anticipation, I finally got my hands on this book and boy was it worth the wait. Once I started this book I could not put it down! This is book #3 in a series and they must be read in order.

While the theme of Romeo and Juliet exists through this epic series, it is not as predictable as you may think and I was shocked by how emotional and teary-eyed many of the moments made me. That's quite something because I don't cry easily! Roman and Julianna go through so much while having to protect themselves and each other from their own feuding families. Their love for each other is fierce and undeniable. The danger, angst, and suspense in this book had me biting my nails and fearing to read onward!

I have already recommended this series to my review team members that haven't read it and also my reader friends! I can't wait to see what Sienna has for us next!!!

Love Sprung From Hate

Dark Romeo...well, they are star crossed lovers...
Suspense and who done it take this romance to a flirty, sexy version of clue. With the Romeo and Juliet storyline, it's hard not to like Love Sprung From Hate.
I loved the conspiracy theories and plot twists my brain came up with. Now I just need to know if I'm right...
Dark Romeo is off to a solid start. I look forward to book two- The Scent of Roses.

The Scent of Roses is book two in the Dark Romeo series. It begins at the end of book one and continues to tell the story of our star crossed lovers.

It answers questions and hides truths but if you pay attention you may just know exactly what's going on. My conspiracy theories are all firmly in the I Know...but let's see space. I love trying to figure it out before the reveal.

I also have a crush on Roman but would love to b!tch slap him. Just saying...
I can't wait to see what's in store for me in book three.

Hope is a dangerous thing. It can make us believe anything. It even makes us believe that the ending you see coming will change. It makes you believe the words you are reading are wrong.
Hope is also a beautiful thing. In the face of unbelievable odds, hope gives you courage and strength. Hope is why I read books.

Hanging in the Stars is about hope. It's well written and made me cry...of course it did. I absolutely loved the ending to this series. I may even hug the friend who recommended it. (Hugs, Bex.)

The drama is at full throttle in this instalment of Roman and Jules epic story, if this was a tv show it would be one of those huge lavish productions.This is a story you get invested in you really can't help diving straight into all the drama and angst. It's a drama filled story that has you on the edge of your seat at times I was screaming at both Jules and Roman in frustration. As a reader we are in a unique position that we can see what's happening that they don't and even when I was shouting at them not to do something they didn't listen. Why didn't they listen?
There is so much going on I this book it's like a game of cat and mouse but I'm still not entirely sure who's catching who. I'm going to be counting down the days till book three.

What a series this has been and thus conclusion to Roman and Juliana's story was just perfect.The first two books introduced us to their dangerous love affair, I grew to love them the more I read but their life together is not easy there is so much against them. This one pulls all the loose ends together to a heart stopping conclusion.
The author gives us a story of lust, passion and an unending love with twists and turns that had me throwing my kindle several times. The danger is a theme that runs throughout all the books in the series and kept me on the edge of my seat.
A fantastic series given an ending the characters deserve.
