I should have known it was only a game.
I should have known he was too good to be true.
He’s nothing but a player...
Player, an all-new sexy, standalone romantic comedy from Staci Hart, is LIVE!
He’s a player.
He plays the bass with expert fingers. He plays women with intoxicating charm. And he’ll play me with the ease of a virtuoso.
Who better to teach me to play than the master himself?
I’m his model student, front row, pencil sharp. Pick up lines? I’ve got them. Free drinks? By the dozen. Kissing? Let me grab my chapstick.
But the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is that there’s so much I don’t know. Like why his touch sets off a chain reaction straight to my nethers. Or how I’m certain each kiss is the best I’ll ever have, until the moment his lips take mine again.
There’s so much I don’t know.
Like the fact that I’m only a bet.
But we are what we are. He’s a player, through and through.
And I’m the fool who fell in love with him.
This author is an automatic read for me they always produce a story that keeps me reading from start to finish. I'm not going to say too much about the storyline except the premise is one we've probably all read before but the author put her own spin on it.
The book left me smiling it just gave me happy vibes at a time when I needed it. This author is an automatic read for me they always produce a story that keeps me reading from start to finish. The book left me smiling it just gave me happy vibes at a time when I needed it. Val is a character who I believe a lot of women will identify with. I know I've felt the same insecurities about my looks and self-worth. I could not love Sam more despite how their relationship starts he's just swoon-worthy. The way he sees and supports her just melted my heart.
Get ready to fall into a beautiful story full of friendship and love that will give you happy vibes.

How do you know a book will capture your everything (heart, mind, imagination) and not release you, even after the final word? How do you combat the heartache? The insecurities? The emotional response?
No, I'm asking you. I'm asking because once again Staci Hart has managed to manipulate me into believing...I am a trumpet player who has a new affinity for Swing dancing. (P.S. I played clarinet for 6 months and then flute for 5 years. I'm pretty sure I'd be terrible at the trumpet...Plus it's way more spit than a flute. Yuck! P.P.S. I would totally try Swing but my hubs is allergic to dancing. Or so he says...)
I felt every insecure moment. I empathize with Val on a genetic level. I personally would love my own Sam. (I'm waiting Staci.) I cried at the worst and best times. I mean who wouldn't. I felt this story in very part of my self. Every one needs a Sam. Not a hero. Not an as$hole. Just a Sam.
A Sam, a swing club, and the best friends you could ever ask for. To the RLC!

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey.
From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
