This is one of this books that I know my review will not do it justice. I've come to expect that this author will tear my heart to shreds and yes she's done it again. Maxon and Izzy's story is as painful as it is heartwarming. It wraps it's arms around you and doesn't let go. It's a story of hope, forgiveness, second chances and love. A truly beautiful story with fantastic secondary characters I want to know more about.

Pieces of Us is the hot cop with everything to prove and the one he pushed away. It's a second chance romance with some action involved because of course Detective Maxon Chambers isn't a pushover.
His Little Bird isn't either. Things are different and time has passed but seeing him was a blast from the past. Everything is different and yet somethings are exactly the same.
A.L. Jackson warms our hearts with Mack's redemption. She gives us all we wanted to know about our last man standing. Even better, she gives us exactly what he deserves!
