Blurb:

Hollywood is a temptress, a trickster, a soul-stealing devil. I married an A-list player, knowing I come second place to his craft. But Lucas and I are a golden couple, a modern-day fairy tale.

I’ve never doubted what we built...until the sudden death of Lucas’s best friend has scandal rocking the Hills and shaking the foundation of our relationship.

I chose Lucas as my safe haven...he chose the role of a lifetime.

For the next three months, I’ll share my nights with a stranger, watching as he buries his pain, immersed in his role and living as someone else.

We’ve done this before. I tell myself it’s just another movie, and he’ll return to me.

I should’ve known this time would be different.

To get my husband back, I’ll need the strength of ten men.

As it turns out, I’ll have to go through two.

This is only my second book by this author and I'm kicking myself because I know I've been missing out.

I knew very little about this book before I started and I'm glad. Reading the book is like peeling an onion, each new chapter revealed a new layer of the story. Lucas the Hollywood star and his beloved wife Mila are fascinating to read about. I never give spoilers all I can say is prepare yourself because this Hollywood tale is unlike anything I've read before.

The writing is sublime, the characterization is spot on, the way she weaved this story pulled me in. I couldn't stop reading I became obsessed with wanting to find out what was going on. I know this is review is vague my only recommendation is to buy the book you won't regret it.

Talk about intense!

I'm not new to Kate Stewart's books but Method is a whole new feel for me. I didn't sob. I may have chuckled a few times. I didn't fall in love instantly. I fell apart. I got lost. I was confused. I felt betrayed and heartbroken. All of that before I even knew what was happening!

Method is carefully crafted genius. A journey into spiraling...everything. Life, love, loss. A spiraling vortex of pain. It's a suspenseful, voyeuristic jaunt through both past and present. A glimpse in the periphery of what is and was while the reader struggles to places puzzle pieces or facts together.

Method has poignant and poetic quotes that haunt both the reader and their authors. I don't know whether the quotes launched the idea of this book of were used as a "Method" to sway the reader but it was incredibly successful.

I am both physically lighter and emotionally heavier by this ending. I am smiling, fighting tears, and wishing I could read it again for the first time.
