This is the third book in the series and you must read the first two. This book was so intense. The way you get drawn into this story is unreal. I loved seeing deeper into Elder's past and why he is the way he is. I can't wait for the next book. No spoilers so I just want to say these 3 books have truly captivated my attention. I am always searching for the next book to release.

With every book in this series the charcters and the story is evolving into something truly amazing.
Pimlico is no longer the little quiet mouse that Elder rescued she is slowly coming out of her shell, she's not the girl she once was but she's emerging as the woman that survived brutality and is slowly growing in strength both physically and mentally and I will admit she is becoming one of just favourite female book characters.
We learn more about Elder in this one, his past and who he really is has been cloaked in mystery and I for one was surprised when some of his secrets are revealed. We learn what I always suspected that Elder is much more sensitive than I could ever have imagined, my heart hurt so much for him when his torment was revealed.
They are two broken souls who seem to just fit together despite how they met but can they overcome the own fears and objections or will fear stop them being together?

This has been an eye opening journey. Pim and Elder have never had the easy road. It seems life will only give them challenges. Still having difficulty with the concept of good and bad combined, Pim doesn't understand Elder's pain.
It's hard to not cry for things lost- innocence, family, and love. It's hard not to feel for their humanity. It's downright heartbreaking learning a history that has tainted the life of her savior. The world is never black and white. Pim is finally learning that. She sees in shades of each. She's finally opening her eyes but will it be enough.
I hate that this is a five book series. I hate having to wait. I just binge read them all in less than two days but now I need more. I need to know what happens next.
I will be rocking in the corner, pulling my hair, and begging for the next one. When!?!?!?!
Ugh, I need to know now! Darn Ms. Winters and her incredible writing. Curse her and her characters that make you feel them whether you want to or not. And most of all some one tell her to hurry!

So moving!! Absolutely incredible!
I wasn't sure what to expect with the highly anticipated Hundreds (Dollars #3), but I can say it definitely surpassed my expectations! The angst, sexual tension and connection between Elder and Pim are a tangible and heady thing throughout this book.
As we learn more about Elder's history in this book and the level to which is afflictions control him, we also see Pim gain strength by leaps and bounds. As Elder weakens, Pim strengthens. When Pim falls weak, Elder feels stronger and more in control. This yin and yang of strength and vulnerability may make or break them. As is the definition of yin and yang, the contrary forces of their connection may be complimentary to each other and also interdependent with one another, what happens as Elder fears his darkness will overtake Pim's newfound light?
My heart broke several times over for these people, especially Elder, as the layers begin to peel back and we see where they have come from and what they hold within themselves. As Pim's gains confidence, Elder's vulnerabilities rise to the surface making him weaker to his dangerous proclivities.
