Synopsis
Rule #1: No hot guys.
It might sound ridiculous. I get it. It kind of is, but college was supposed to be my sanctuary. It was my place to start over. The rumors, the whispers, and the jealousy I endured through high school would all be gone.
No one would know me at college.
Rule #2: No drama.
I’d major in pre-law. I’d make a few loyal friends. Everything would be easy breezy. No one was going to use me or hurt me. I wouldn’t let them.
Rule #3: New year. New place. New me.
Right?
Wrong.
And all because of Shay Coleman.
Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk. I hated him on sight . . .
. . . and he was about to break all my rules.

This story was packed with everything. A damaged girl with a massive chip on her shoulder meets the perfect golden boy she wants to hate, but truly can't. That right there make you want to dig deeper, in order to find out what happens next. This story had all the angst, and suspense to keep you constantly wanting more. Hard controversial issues are brought up, which is something I love in a story. I like to challenged through a story. These topics are handled in a tasteful manner, and although the play a big role in the story, they do not overwhelm it. Shay and Kennedy are an amazing couple. They build each other up, and make each other better. They also provide SUPER HOT and swoony moments, that make you squeal like a little girl. The feelings are raw and you can feel right along with all the feelings the characters are going through. This book is a complete experience. I highly recommend this story to everyone! Read this book!

Tijan is one of my top authors and has written my favourite series ever, I've never read a book of hers that I didn't adore. In this book we are introduced to a whole new set of characters and I'll be upfront from the start that I hope we get to see more from the secondary characters.
Shay and Kennedy are freaking fabulous, I get all gushy just thinking about them. Shay is the hot jock of the college, when we first met him I thought he was going to play to the type but I should have had faith in the author because he wasn't as I expected at all. He's arrogant. the life and soul of the party but he has a wicked sense of humour.
Kennedy comes across as a closed off bitchy bore who looks at others with disdain. As the story develops we find out the background of her attitude, I got it when people use you it's a natural reaction to become wary. I loved everything about her from her sense of humour to her witty put downs to her feisty attitude.
There is a lot more to this story than just college and sex ( lots of hot sex ) but Shay is top bbf material he's the perfect mix of demanding and sweet. Please please please give Linde a book of his own.

I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.
