This is a book that made me smile a lot whilst reading I needed a book pick me up and this fit the bill.
Delaney is a quirky fun unashamedly nerdy girl who I loved. Don’t make the mistake of thinking she’s some shrinking violet because nothing could be further from the truth. Dares are where her fun spontaneous side comes out, she just can’t refuse a dare.
Maverick oh be still my mushy heart get ready to swoon ladies he has the moves to melt even the coldest heart. One of the top football players in college your first impression is a typical jock but to those who really know him he’s a totally different guy but he has secrets.
What I liked most was the interaction between the two main characters, it alternates between fun to sweet to sexy. Poor Maverick he’s literally wooing Delaney and she has no clue what so ever. I gave him a huge 10/10 for persistence other guys may have given up.
This was a fun book to read that I would definitely recommend.
