[Sisterhood Review] EL DIABLO by M. Robinson @AuthorMRobinson

El Diablo
by M. Robinson

Blurb

I was ruthless.
I was feared.
I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...

Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve done things I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused pain that I can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Every decision.
Every order.
Right and wrong never mattered.
Until her.
She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.
But who was going to save her...

From. Me. The devil himself.

Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.

STANDALONE. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Full length novel.

5 of 5 stars

Intense, mesmerizing, heartbreaking, gripping!

I could not put this book down! I was MIA in my own home, unreachable, unable to get things done without planning my next available time to read!

M. Robinson has made a new follower (let's call it like it is -->stalker) out of me. This is the second book of hers I've read, Road To Nowhere being the first. Immediately upon finishing that book, I had to start this one, my read/review schedule be damned.

Alejandro Martinez is everything I crave in a hardened alpha male. He's tall, dark, and handsome. He's dangerous, cunning, and a complete fucking mystery. We don't know anything about what's on his mind half the time and the desire to know is the hook that had me obsessed. It takes a special kind of writing for characters to plant roots in my mind and take up residence. I now have a small apartment complex of M. Robinson's people that will be with me for the foreseeable future. I love characters that I feel like I really know, and I miss them the second the book is finished.

Let's talk about Lexi. Lexi has brass balls. She perseveres through everything. Heartbreak after heartbreak she continues to fight. Not much scares her when it should, aside from her past. She fights so hard for love and has a very tender heart. She's tough and fragile at the same time. I just love her!

This book can be read without having read the earlier books related to the series. I haven't read them yet, but I definitely will be now! I recommend this book fervently! Please read it! You won't regret it!
