Throne of Truth, the thrilling conclusion to Crown of Lies from New York Times Bestseller, Pepper Winters, is now LIVE!
Throne of Truth
Publication Date: February 28th, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Since my life changed for the second time and not necessarily for the better. Two years since I traded prison bars for streets and hunted a runaway who I’d met in an alley.
Since I forgot how to lie, woke to fists, and chased after the girl who’d been stolen from me.
To save her, rescue her, keep my lies intact. She looks at me full of hate. I look at her full of confession.
For our relationship to switch from mutual dislike to floundering with unknowns. I’ve hurt her. Now, she’s hurt me. I guess we’re even.
For her to listen, to see, to finally know who I am. The answer comes with hardship. The answer isn’t what she wants to hear.
For me to walk out the door.
For it all to be over.
I've been desperate for this book ever since I finished book 1, I had so many burning questions, so many theories but would they be correct?
When we left Ella she was in pain emotionally from Penn's apparent betrayal and in a dangerous situation with Greg. I've got to admit I never pegged Greg as being so unhinged, he's seriously scary.
Will Ella be able to escape Greg?
Will Penn find her and rescue her from a madman?
After all the secrets are revealed will Ella and Penn have a future?
I loved learning all about Penn's past, we find out how he ended up on the streets, how's he connected to the men in the alley, how he became the success he is now.
I don't know how Pepper does it but every book every series she just kills it everytime and I hope she never stops writing.

Review by AnessaRenee
You must read Throne of lies first and you will be Happy you did. This is the ending and second book in the duet. As always Pepper knows how to knock your socks off. This story picks up right where the first one leaves off. The writing flows so beautifully and sticks with you in such a way that you don't feel like any time has lapsed since you read the first book. I hate spoilers so all I really have to say is that I loved these books and always look forward to anything Winters puts out.

Start the series with Crown of Lies!
Since I ran away for the night, danced in New York streets, and almost got killed in an alley by two thieves. Until he showed up and saved me.
Since I threw a drink at the man my father expected me to marry, then found myself slammed against a wall with Penn Everett’s seductive voice whispering a proposal I couldn’t refuse.
To fall into hate with the man who reminded me of so many things and hid so much behind his lies. He couldn’t be the man who saved me three years ago…but there’s something so familiar…
For our relationship to switch from no-strings to marriage. He announced it to my father—he’s ecstatic. He told my friends—they’re shocked. But he didn’t ask me, he commanded me—and I’m livid.
For his lies to slowly steal my heart and make me believe, hope…trust.
For his truth to destroy me.
