After an intense whirlwind romance, Karrie Parker thought she had it all: a sexy husband, a loving family, a great career and a beautiful home.
Together they lived a life fit for royalty.
But when tragedy strikes, Karrie is devastated and left to face the consequences of her husband’s deepest, darkest secrets. Discovering the strength to carry on while making important, life-changing decisions, she finds herself desperate for answers. And holding the key to the puzzle is the one man she loathes immensely.
For up and coming motorcycle drag racer Tyler Strong, keeping painful secrets was never part of the plan. Racing motorcycles and winning was all he ever wanted to do. But when his best friend’s lies begin to unravel, Tyler is sent into a tailspin when he’s forced to come face to face with the one woman he vowed to stay away from. The woman he refuses to speak to, the woman he avoids, the woman he watches…from a distance.
As the truth becomes clear, will destiny bring these two unlikely souls together or tear them apart forever?

Stronger Than Ever
This story was absolutely beautiful. You will be devastated more than a couple times. You will not be able to put it down. A story about how everything happens for a reason, and finding your true happily ever after despite all the heartbreak that jumps in your path. I will be suggesting this book to all my friends!

I admit my distaste for a man I knew to be dick did not diminish my empathy for his wife. L.M. Carr makes sure that you feel her love, devotion, and frustration. You will know pain reading this book. Confusion, desperation, and disgust. Fear, distrust, and sorrow. Disbelief, doubt, and utter disdain.
But you will also experience hope, joy, and love. And we all know it's better to have loved...maybe it depends on the object of your love.
Karrie fell for the charming man she met. She fell head over heals. She loved him dearly. Now she wonders what happened to their marriage. He isn't the same. Things are different. But she didn't even know the half of it!
Looking for answers, explanations, or someone to blame, Karrie turns to Tyler. Or Tyler's room. She vents, grieves, and bullies him. But then it becomes something more...
Fear, doubt, and trust in the wrong man caused Karrie a lot of pain. What happens if she tries again?
I loved the book. I was a wreck though. It tore me apart and made me a sloppy PMer on Facebook. Sniveling mess that I was venting my frustration, anger, and disgust one messaged rant at a time...Or three at a time. Find me when, not if, you need to vent. I will hold your hand.

When i read the synopsis of the story I thought it was right up my street but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations.
Karrie is meant to be 30ish but they way she is written she comes across as early 20's, she's extremely immature, naive and as evidenced by her hatred of Tyler childish. There seems to be no basis for her hatred expect she feels he's a bad influence on her older husband sorry but I just didn't buy it. I found her a character that I'd didn't really like especially in the beginning although I liked her later in the book I still wanted to give her a good shake.
Very early on I saw the surprises with the husband coming there were just too many hints they made it so obvious. I would have preferred that we got more of a relationship with Karrie and Tyler not the instalove they seems to fall into.
I just don't think this was for me.

About the Author
L.M. Carr, author of The Giving Trilogy, is a wife, a mom, an educator, a reader and a writer who lives in central Connecticut with her family and two dogs. When she’s not sitting at her computer writing, she loves to read or spend time with family and friends. The idea for the trilogy formed in the summer of 2013 and wouldn’t leave her alone, until she picked up a pen and jotted the thoughts down. Before long, words flowed as the story began to unravel. L.M. Carr is a lover of “Happily Ever Afters” because the world is filled with enough sadness. Reading is an escape in which anything is possible. But like in reality, stories sometimes take you on a journey through Hell before you can reach Heaven. Follow along as we begin this journey together.
