Synopsis:
He was the myth and the legend of our small town. But no one knew the truth... except me.

Me
My childhood was stolen by a monster. I’ve forgotten what love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb.

Him
He’s possibly as damaged as I am. Maybe even more. Scarred just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn’t speak. He doesn’t smile. He hides in the woods like an animal. I should be scared of him. But I’m not. He’s the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too. everything...

4.5 stars and the best ending ever

I absolutely love when a person that is "broken" learns they are more than their experiences. I love when a victim gets their "light" back. I love what I call a second chance at life. Both of these characters, sometimes I have to remind myself they aren't real, are alive but not exactly living. They exist in limbo. Tied together in the most unusual way.

It's a horrifically beautiful story made to tear your heart apart. A weaker person would run from their issues. I cling to their imperfect imperfections. It's a beautiful book, a beautiful story with some ugly things.

I teared up in several places, but what effected my control the most was the ending. I still have tears sliding down my face rereading it in my mind.

Before you write your own version in your mind, read Tied to know what truly happens.

sigh, just....sigh

I know when you see 'this was not what I was expecting' you'll probably roll your eyes, but it's true in this case and that's because the author didn't give anything away in the blurb.
We knew from previous books that Tyler was a recluse who lives in the woods but I had no clue who his woman would be. Holly is wonderful, as the pages unfold we get to know both their stories, where Tyler's is full of pain and betrayal Holly's life has been horrific it's not an easy read and sometimes you don't get the words but your imagination easily fills in the blanks.
This could have come across as a depressing read, but it in no way is that. This is a stunningly beautiful horrific love story about two people who are soul mates. Sometimes we just need to find that one person who doesn't want to change you, accepts you for who you are, fills you with hope and wants the best for you and that's what Holly and Tyler are for each other.

About the Author:
I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts.
My first novel in the best-selling Ashes & Embers series, Storm, published in September of 2014. I have many books and sequels slated for this series. My new spin-off series, Devils Wolves, launched in 2016 with the best-selling novel, Torn. There are several books planned for this series as well. Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
