Part 1 of a duet and I need book 2 ASAP it's so good. Characters that you can really relate to, their problems are ones that literally thousands of couples will have gone through. When Roman and Elisabeth meet its like the stars aligned just for them, they are perfect for each other, they live a charmed life but then tragedy happens and their perfect life falls apart. When they meet again the chemistry and love is still there but with such a painful past can they reconnect. Roman is pure alpha he knows what he wants and damn does he go for it. Elisabeth is a woman I could see myself hanging out with she's just so real. The story that is weaved throughout the book is complex, it's cleverly written so the 'joins' are seem less and kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved every word of this book can't wait for book 2.

Aly Aly Aly what have you done to me I feel like you've shook me up and turned me around, the blurb literally gave me the chills I wanted to read it soooo bad.
The prologue had me on the edge of my seat as if I was watching behind my fingers. Our first meeting with Jude is devastating it's intense scary and heartbreaking I found myself going back to that prologue several times because I was screaming inside noooooo and from that moment on I was Jude's I don't care what he did or said in the future I was his.
When we meet Rhion I'm not going to lie I wasn't sure if she was crazy, eccentric or neurotic or a mix of all three she was a seriously confusing character and just when I'm getting a handle on her we flip to a room full of male hotness the way the author describes them tells you everything you need to know about these alpha men who take protective to a whole new level.
Both parts of the story past and present are woven so well into the story it's seemless, it's raw and it's emotional and it hurt my poor little romantic heart. You think you know how the story is going to end but then the author throws a bomb into the story and it takes a plot twist that you will never see coming but it still stays true to the story. Would I recommend this book, absolutely I will you need to add this to your reading list asap.
