OUTCAST by Jamie Schlosser is LIVE!

A New Adult/College Standalone Romance
A Good Guys Series Novel

KAYLA
My infatuation with Ezra Johnson started how all obsessions begin—with a simple crush. Over the years I silently soaked up every shy smile and random act of kindness, wrestling them away to a secret place in my heart meant for unrequited love.

Because if it wasn’t for the fact that I tutor him once a week, I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t even know I exist.

Then I find his sketchbook.

And it changes everything.

EZRA
There are two certainties in my life: I’ve been in love with Kayla Reynolds since I was fourteen, and I can’t have her.

I’ve spent years settling for a two-dimensional fantasy world, capturing her beauty with a pencil and paper. She’s kind, smart, gorgeous… and she belongs to someone else.

Or so I thought.

An interesting turn of events makes me realize things aren’t always how they appear on the outside, and now I’ve got my chance to be the man she deserves.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been called a loser. The cripple. An outcast.

But maybe—just maybe—this time the good guy won’t finish last.

Have you been waiting on a book that gets you inside the guys head if so you’ll love Ezra and Kayla’s story.

Ezra and Kayla are school mates, friends and she tutors him. The story follows them as they go through high school and then onto college. I’m nit going to tell you what happens but I will tell you how it made me feel.

Ezra is the sweetest young man, the things he does the things he says just melted my heart. His insecurity is adorable, he’s real the struggles he goes through just hurt because you know people are experiencing the same thing everyday.

From the moment we meet Kayla you can tell she’s different. She deals with things with a maturity beyond her years but when you meet her parents you understand why.

Acceptance is a theme that runs throughout the story, acceptance and unconditional love. Sometimes we don’t see what’s right in front of us, we just need that shove a little bit of courage to put ourselves out there.

I loved Kayla but Ezra is the star of the book for me, the author wrote a character of such depth and emotion that I feel he’s real. I imagine this young man drawing his pictures and making a difference to everyone he meets.

This is a truly beautiful well written book and yet again I’ve found a new author to stalk.

Outcast.

I don't know about you but I think a lot of people feel this way. They feel like they are on the outside looking in. Facades can certainly be misleading.

Kayla and Ezra are adorable. Both have had a huge crush on each other and never noticed. They were a powder keg of emotion until the match was lit.

I can honestly say that as much as I want Ezra for my own. I can't picture him with anyone else. (Don't give me that look. We all picture the H in our minds as ours but a select few are impossible to switch in that role. Ezra will only ever love Kayla like that.)

Outcast is a heartwarming and incredibly romantic story. It's the best of everything. It's Christmas morning and everything you asked Santa for is under the tree. With the exception of Gavin's other half...Please Jamie, give Gavin his HEA soon.
