[Sisterhood Review Bundle] CROWN JEWELS by Ella James @author_ellaj

CROWN JEWELS
by Ella James

Blurb

After that close-up of his package on the sailboat in Morocco, TMZ started calling him Crown Jewels.
Not that I keep track of Prince Liam. Definitely don’t stalk him online like my friends do.
I’m out of that scene now. My family’s reality show might still be running, but I’ve been off-screen for a while. When people pass me on the sidewalk, they might squint, but most of them don’t scream “Lucy Rhodes” and ask about my love of Lucky Charms or how my broken toe healed.
Prince Liam—my stalking his Instagram—that’s just for fun. It’s my dirty little secret. Trust me, I’m the only woman in the world who doesn’t actually want him.
Except I’m back in the Hamptons for the first time in two years. I’m at a party, and Prince Manwhore is here as well. I tell myself that smile has no effect on me. That his ridiculous charisma is a parlor trick I see right through.
After our one night together, no one knows that I succumbed.
It doesn’t matter. It meant nothing.
Not until I see those two pink lines.

Review by Anne Milne

I loved the premise of this book and really like how it was given that modern touch with the paperazzi and social media.
Prince Liam is a bit of a media w**re. His antics are regularly captured around the world, he's legendary with women who all want a piece of his crown jewels (he-he). He's an unapologetic playboy and the first impressions you get certainly play into that, but as the story progresses, oh my, did my feelings change.

Lucy is part of a famous reality tv family, but she's stepped away from that life and is living quietly away from the limelight. But why?.. We find out what happened to her. Where I thought she was a spoiled, pampered, neurotic drama queen, ...I did a total 180. I got her, I totally understood why she was acting the way she was.
Liam may seem shallow, but he is an absolute sweetheart. His protectiveness towards Lucy made me swoon and that was the moment I fell in love with him. When Lucy fights back you will cheer, when she stands beside Liam I gave a mental fist bump.
At times it's lighthearted, it's fun, it's sexy, but it has it's serious and dangerous moments. I love it.

I love a good royal romance. Crown Jewels is the story of Lucy Rhodes, a girl made famous by her family's reality TV show, The Rhodes of Concord, and Liam Clary, the Playboy Prince of Gael. Although they have never met, they both kind of have a thing for one another due to their fame. Lucy quit the show and is now training horses in Colorado. While on a trip to The Hamptons with her friends, they go to a party at their friend Declan's house. As the night goes on, Lucy runs into her past. A past that changed her life. This upsets her so bad. Guess who comes to her rescue? Yep, Prince Liam. He just so happens to be an old school friend of Declan's. They end up spending the rest of the night together. Of course, this isn't where their story ends, but I don't want to give too much away. But here is a little tidbit to tide you over until you get a chance to read it for yourself. They don't call Liam's package The Crown Jewels for nothing! Also, Lucy has a cat named Grey. Yep, named after the one and only Christian Grey! Enjoy!

This is the first book by Ella James and I will definitely be checking her other books out. She kept me captivated throughout the whole book. There is mystery, scandal, and suspense. There is even a big surprise. I loved this book. It is definitely one-click worthy. I give it 5 Stars!

When you think of Crown Jewels and royalty, you instantly think of a gorgeous crown. But what the princes jewels. Lucy can't help but follow Prince Liam's Instagram and all his delicious pictures. What she never expects is that she will find herself in a position where she can get to know him. Lucy no longer likes to be in the limelight and tries to stay to herself and new lifestyle. Liam, on the other hand, has been having a crazy party year. They seem to be at complete opposites, but will they find that they are actually the same kind of person?

This book has everything you're looking for in a great story. I loved all the mystery, angst, lust, and down right good feelings. I love Prince Liam and he is the alpha hot male every prince should be. Lucy is definitely a strong person who will always fight for what she believes in right. I can't wait to read the next book.

Are you thinking diamonds and sapphires as big as a person's head?

Not quite the right jewels...Prince Liam is a hottie of epic proportions. EPIC, as in he is big...

Crown Jewels is fun, funny, and entertaining. It's just enough sarcasm and banter to keep a smirk permanently etched on your face. There is plenty of steamy make-out sessions that advance past the PG phase...if you know what I mean.

And for all you Disney princess wannabes...hello, he's a Prince!?!
