[Sisterhood Review Bundle] NEIGHBORS by Stylo Fantome @StyloFantome

NEIGHBORS
by Stylo FAntome

Blurb

Things a good neighbor can do for you:
1. Give you a cup of sugar
2. Let you borrow his lawnmower
3. Water your plants while you're on vacation
4. Make your eyes roll back in your head with his tongue

Katya Tocci has never paid much attention to who lives next door - her career always kept her too busy. She's a good girl, working her way to becoming the most sought after cake designer in all of San Francisco.

But even a good girl's gotta cut loose once in a while, right? So one fake dating profile later, and she's ready to tarnish her squeaky clean image. Little does she know, her fun time is closer to home than she ever imagined.

Throw in a neighbor who wants to corrupt her, and another who just wants to own her, and her entire world is flipped upside down.

Who knew neighbors could be so helpful?.

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and one scene of violent cake destruction. Reader discretion is advised.

Holy Sh!t

Let me say it again...with more force

Holy F@cking Sh!t

I...just...Wow! I will be honest. I knew it was coming. I saw the train wreck but I couldn't stop the impact. I knew and still had tears pouring down my face. I...just...Wow

Neighbors is my first Stylo Fantome book. It without a doubt will not be my last. Holy Sh!t! Can she write!?! This book is touching, sweet, naughty, and even downright filthy.

Katya Tocci works too much. She hasn't had a boyfriend in 8 months and sex even longer. She is an attractive 23 year old woman. Why- why can't she get a date?

When it rains, it pours right? One dating app, one drastic profile change, and two men later- is it worth it?

Incredible chemistry, breaking preconceived notions, dropping stereotypes...what's not to like? Maybe even fall for? But which one?

Or is the question really- which Katya?

Neighbors is a journey of letting your hair down, learning to love yourself, and trying new things. It's also a hell of a way to start a series. I am so excited. It better be as long as the Twins are tall. I hope for many more adventures and even some new neighbors!

Review by Anne Milne

This book made my moods seesaw from one extreme to the other.
We meet Katya when she decides to do online dating and her friend Tori decides to change her profile without her knowledge because hers was .... well, boring and bland and this brings Liam and then Wulf into her life.
Liam brings out a whole new side to Katya. He pushes her to see a whole new side to her sexuality. Wulf is a bit of an enigma. He's adrupt, rude, and a bit of an asshole. Liam is funny, sweet, very laid back, and nothing seems to bother him.
I'm going to admit I've never been so conflicted about a female character before. Usually, I love to hate them, but with Katya, my feelings are so confused. I loved her, I gave her a high five cause I mean come on, she gets both of them. Then she started to infuriate me. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with her and the guys.
The story kept me guessing and one of my theories was wrong, but I wasn't prepared for that ending. It's a sexy read that becomes sweet and tender with an undercurrent of mystery and suspense.

This review of Neighbors by Stylo Fantome is for The Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog.

I definitely give this book 5 Stars. It is a must read. I did not want to put it down. I definitely have to give Fantome credit because she shocked the crap out of me. Not many authors do that. However, on that note, I wasn't completely fooled.

Neighbors is about Katya. She is an in-demand baker and your average girl next door. So in order to kick this image her roommate and friend spices up her dating app profile. Now enters Liam, her Twin Towers neighbor. He recognizes her from the app and they agree to meet up later. A few days later, an old neighbor from back home walks into the bakery where she works. She happened to have a huge crush on him back in the day. Now the NEW Katya is smack dab in the middle of a moral dilemma. Could she date 2 men at once? I'm not saying anymore. You will have to read it to find out what Katya does and how it plays out. Trust me it will be well worth it! You will absolutely not be disappointed.

This book had me hook, line, and sinker, right from the beginning. The sex is hot, the men are hotter, and our heroine was pushing herself outside her usual comfort zone. What could be better?

The evolution of Katya has been quite a learning curve in the sack, but in the field of relationships, I think a harder lesson is to be learned. Convincing herself that she is only casually dating two men and that they are both okay with it creates some problems. She doesn't act on her instincts soon enough and people get hurt. But what about the guys? What is their role in this for Katya? How do they affect her in the end? The evolution is not only Katya's but also Liam and Wulfe's. Some lessons are best learned the hard way.

I loved the ending and feel like it is just as it should be. I can't wait for the next installment and will commence stalker mode with my Sisterhood posse!
